Ladytron - Destroy Everything You Touch
[Island]

Ladytron return with another release of refreshing digital pop after May's Sugar single. Destroy Everything You Touch is the second single from the group's best album to date Witching Hour, which you can get hold of next month.

Much of Witching Hour incorporates different types of music than the four-piece have used before, such as adding indie guitars or subtle ambient interludes. Destroy Everything You Touch however, is classic Ladytron doing their usual trademark synth pop. The track strongly sounds like a female Pet Shop Boys, with the foursome using only programmed instruments as in the way of vintage drum beats and old school synthesizers. There is also a slightly sinister feel to the track, with an air of agression in the vocals and the bitter suggestions of the title.

Destroy Everything You Touch is Ladytron's most entertaining and focused single release, which should elevate the band to a higher commercial status.
