Twisted Charm - London Scene
[1-2-3-4 Records]

This two track single is the second for the new London based band Twisted Charm on 1-2-3-4 Records (an imprint from Sonic Mook), after the young four-piece released their acclaimed Broken Girl single last year, even earning them a slot on Steve Lamacq's playlist.

Like Pink Grease never existed, London Scene is an edgy punk track with glam undertones and fronted by a young Johnny Rotten vocalist. This post-Pixies track adds the jangly guitars of Debaser with bursts of saxophones, fits of laughter and stabs of home-made synthesizers into one energetic mess. Twisted Anbulance on the b-side is fuelled by a digital bassline and amphetamine drum machine beats in this semi-electroclash track, complete with alarms and ambulance sound effects.

The band have previously toured with Selfish Cunt, Whirlwind Heat, Blonde Redhead, Liars and Babyshambles, with their own headline shows about to be announed shortly. Make sure you get a glimpse of them in a live environment to capture the true rawness of their music.
