Ain't No Easy Way sees a strong shift in direction for the gritty, drone rock 'n' rollers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. Unrecognisable as a typical BRMC track, the single is a dusty homage to the blues, where the trio exchange electric guitars for acoustic, add a slick harmonica solo to the chorus and circulate the lot around a pounding kick drum.

This new found sound for the moody threesome offers a relatively positive and uplifting insight into their World - a style and sound which are consistent themes in the recent third album, Howl. If you like a little feedback in your BRMC, perhaps their future won't appeal. For the unitiated, this may well be the track to score some high chart action.
