Going against the grain of the currently 'fashionable indie scene', The Mystery Jets are bringing something new to the plate. New single 'On My Feet', released on Good & Evil records, combines the four man lead vocals and utensil playing that the 'Jets are fast becoming known for.
Originally hailing from various locations, the now Twickenham based band provide a sense of passion combined with almost quirkiness, as they supply a range of vocals, tempos and sounds. A unity is heard in this record as all members layer harmonious vocals. Lyrics 'and all our yesteryears, will be, erased.' provide some downtime, before crashing beats and thumping drums come roaring in.
This kooky band, complete with father and son and kitchen colanders, have created a masterful piece of music that place the Mystery Jets into a category of their own. 'On my Feet' is one of the 'Jets greatest works, showcasing their ability to mix up the speed and sounds of today's conventional rock record.
