The magical qualities of Team LG first came into the limelight during 2004 with a handful of online MP3 only releases for the Twisted Nerve label. Now, the enigmatic duo release their first physical release as part of the Earsugar Jukebox Series.

A-Side Big Man is a typical Team LG moment, led by a swirling melodica and the alluring vocals of Little G (Galia of Psapp / The Leaf Label fame), that overlay toy piano keys, and elements of kitchen sink and tinpot percussion.

Jesus In A Show on the flip is a similar fun number, offering dusty hip hop beats, plucked guitar strings, reversed samples and strings - it's the bubblegum pop version of Four Tet, albeit with the aid of a seductive female vocalist.

This is stupidly fun and highly addictive music, created in a burst of spontaneous recording and born out of a playful, twisted slant on pop. Marvellous.
