It wasn't hard to guess why the main band were called "Kings". Both visually and accoustically, they were in a league of their own. With their unmistakeable style (again sound and vision), they coaxed the audience through the whole gamut of emotions. Caleb (Adonis or what!?) oozed sexuality, with his newly bare top lip, yet still sporting his gorgeous flowing locks.
The audience went wild as the band effortlessly rocked out one hit after another: 'Molly's Chambers', 'California Waiting', 'Red Morning Light' from 'Youth Young And Manhood', and 'The Bucket', 'Razz' and 'Milk' (to name but a few) from the newly acclaimed 'Aha Shake Heartbreak' album.
The crowd pleaser/teaser had to be the new single 'Four Kicks' which personified creativity itself. With a brief stage exit Jared Followill (a personal favourite) returned with the rest of the band with his "cool-as-f**k" style, throwing his fag butt on the floor. Caleb proudly announced that we were a better audience than the London lot, and asked whether we minded if he "stayed over for Christmas" He can fit into my stocking anyday of the week!
