Every year, a band explodes onto the scene that surprises and wipes the floor with almost any other group doing the rounds. Following two excellent singles and this year's most astonishing long-player, The Go Team! release another dose of insane pyschedelic cartoon pop. There's diverse samples, old school electro cuts and an all-girl chorus topped by a frenzy of chaotic beats. But before you've really taken in what's going, the recording changes course and ventures further afield into yet more far-out situations.

The Hot Chip Remix attempts to recreate the track in a new light, but somehow don't live up to the original's distinctive forceful nature. Replacing the crazy drum breaks and hip-hop samples with percussion and bells, acid synth injections and basslines that bounce off the walls. As far as remixes are concerned, Hot Chip have turned 'Ladyflash' into a brand new track - it's just impossible however, to better a song this flawless.
