Welcome to the world of Bronze Age Fox: a world that embraces everything from pop, electronica and funk. After selling-out their previous shaped singles (a series of 3 lathe cut singles on triangle, square and 8" round
shaped vinyl), the Fox have compiled their impossible to find back catalogue into one handy sized package.

It's better than imagined, what with fun synths, pounding drums and a Prince falsetto adding to the home-produced party anthems and twee indie moments. The singles are commercial pop tunes by numbers, the emphasis on rhythm section and immediate anthems, but lacking sheer inventiveness or ideas they
definitely aren't.

Regardless, Bronze Age Fox are destined to remain indie unknowns - they are far too experimental to be considered mainstream, and unfortunately they don't incorporate enough guitars for the garage kids. Still, it's a
thrilling collection.
