It could equally be genius humour just as much as it could be bizarrely unique magic. Either way it's anybody's proof that experimental music and electronica can go hand in hand without diving into pretentious territory.
Impossible to pigeonhole or even figure out it's origin, 'Wildcat' is largely beat-led by African Tribal rhythms, which are processed into almost futuristic sounds and fused with sparse synths. It's a sound of traditional and ethnic instruments altered within a digital environment.
Wonderfully weird with plenty of random quirkyness that you'd generally associate with indie oddballs, 'Wildcat' is timeless gem which will have any guessing which period the music was recorded. It's reassurance that music can be fun again.
Pushing & testing like more music should, it explores rhythms in ways you would never dream of hearing within electronic music. In other words a difficult and fucked up release devoid of any comparisons, which you'll have encountered nothing like before.
Skamtastic.
