White Lies have played down claims they are moody, as people assume the band are depressing due to their music.
"It's not always the most uplifting," bassist Charles Cave told the BBC of their songs, before revealing they intend to liven things up when on the road. "It's really important for us to maintain a level of humour on tour. Because if we lived through the songs, we'd be basket cases."
White Lies will be releasing new single To Lose My Life on Monday (Jan 12th). It's the title track from their debut album, out a week later on Jan 19th.
