Weezer Confirm 'Weezer' Album Title

Weezer have confirmed the title of their new album after initial reports suspected it was nothing more than an April Fool's joke.
So the band's next effort will in fact be named simply as 'Weezer' - a title they have used twice before! For these previous two eponymous efforts, fans have referred to them as 'The Blue Album' and 'The Green Album' (due to their artwork) and it looks like the new record will be given the alter-name of 'The Red Album'.
There is no fixed UK release date (yet), but the US will be receiving the LP on June 17th (suggesting the 16th for the UK?). According to Rolling Stone, Rick Rubin and Jacknife Lee were on hand to produce Weezer, alongside frontman Rivers Cuomo.
