Vanessa Hudgens 'Often Breaks Into Song'

Vanessa Hudgens may be trying to distance herself from her High School Musical character, but it seems she has more in common with Gabriella than you can imagine - even breaking into song mid-conversation.

The singer/actress, who starred alongside real life boyfriend Zac Efron in the hit Disney franchise, admits that being in a musical can have lasting effects, and she is often caught out singing for no particular reason.

"I hope people don't expect that I always break out into song mid-conversation - but I normally do anyway," she told Showbiz Spy. "When people hear someone singing and they look to see who it is - it is usually me."

"I can't help it - that's what being in musical movies does to you."

Van recently admitted she is "bored" of playing a school girl in movies.
