Vanessa Hudgens 'Bored Of Playing A School Girl'

Vanessa Hudgens has admitted that she is "bored" with playing a school girl.

Despite the fact that High School Musical rose Hudgens to fame and introduced her to boyfriend Zac Efron, the singer and actress has revealed that she would like to shake off the Gabriella image and be given a chance to play a completely different character.

"People think of me as the High School Musical girl," she tells Allure magazine. "There's nothing wrong with that. My character was a great role model, but I get so bored doing the same thing. I want to grow like everybody else."

Luckily for Hudgens, her upcoming role in action movie 'Sucker Punch' will see her playing a girl in a mental institute, who believes she is a prostitute - cya Gabriella!
