V Festival Sells Out

V Festival is the latest Summer event to completely sell out, following in the footsteps of T In The Park and Oxegen.
Music-fans bought all 150,000 tickets within hours of going on sale for the yearly festival, that is being held on August 18th-19th at both Hylands Park in Chelmsford and Weston Park in Staffordshire.
Speaking of the rapid sell out, V Festival directors Bob Angus and Simon Moran say: "We are absolutely overwhelmed that we have sold over 150,000 tickets this quickly!"
"It really is testament to the fantastic line-up - to have eight of the top nine artists in the current album chart, with exception of Take That - who will no doubt have their moment today when their tour tickets go on sale!", they added.
