V Festival Reveals First Names Set To Play

Festival fever is certainly warming-up. First we heard the initial line-up for T In The Park and now we've just heard news on which bands will be performing at this year's V Festival.
Taking place in both Chelmsford and Staffordshire on August 18th and 19th, festival organizers so far have confirmed 26 names including headliners Foo Fighters and Snow Patrol, as well as other larger names like The Killers and Kasabian.
The newly reformed James will also be performing, alongside Babyshambles, Primal Scream and Lily Allen. The Manic Street Preachers and The Coral have also signed to play, after both recently revealing their plans to release their new albums this year.
Fans can purchase tickets on Thursday March 1st.
