U2 'Really, Really Want To Play Glastonbury'

U2 have expressed an interest in headlining Glastonbury Festival.

The Irish veterans won't be performing at this year's event, but singer Bono told BBC Radio 1 that the band hope one day they can top the bill at the yearly festival.

"I know lots of people who love music want us to play that. It's something we're working up our whole life to do." Bono explained.

"I think that we can commit that we really, really want to do this."

U2 are expected to reveal their lengthy world tour plans shortly, as they support new album 'No Line On The Horizon' (out on Monday, March 2nd).
