U2 were influenced by guitarists Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin) and Jack White on their new album 'No Line On The Horizon', says The Edge.
"I was just fascinated with seeing how Jimmy played those riffs so simply, and with Jack as well," he told Rolling Stone magazine, while bandmate Bono also added: "There's some very hardcore guitar coming out of The Edge. Real molten metal."
'No Line On The Horizon' will be released on March 2nd in the UK / Europe, and March 3rd in the US. The first single is believed to be 'Get Yours Boots On'.
The record is the twelfth studio album for U2 and is the follow-up to 2004's 'How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb'.
