Turner & Kane Form The Last Shadow Puppets

The Last Shadow Puppets are the new group formed by Alex Turner (front man with Arctic Monkeys) and Miles Kane (of The Rascals).
Today the duo have revealed all about their impending debut album - The Age Of The Understatement. Brits will be the first to get the record as soon as April 21st, with the US release following shortly after on May 6th.
Turner and Kane recorded the twelve tracks with producer James Ford (of Simian Mobile Disco), who also drums on the record.
The album will first be preceded by a single (7" and Digital), featuring the title track - released on April 14th.
According to Domino, The Age Of the Understatement is "an album of 12 full-blooded songs, bold and brassy, full of drama, wit and melody, that source the past but avoid falling into pastiche."
