Travis To Write New Album On The Road

Travis are planning to write new songs during their North American tour next month, singer Fran Healy has explained.
The frontman will be performing songs from their back catalog acoustically with band mate Andy Dunlop, and Healy says of penning new material: "We're gonna hopefully write the whole thing, me and Andy on the bus."
"I like the idea of writing an album going across America. I can kind of write anywhere; mostly I tend to sit in hotel rooms and quiet places, but I've written in the loudest, noisiest places imaginable, too." He added to Billboard.
"It's like taking a shit; you can do it anywhere, but sometimes it's nice to do it in a nice, cozy toilet rather than in the bushes."
Travis last released an album in 2008 - 'Ode To J. Smith'.
