Tom Clarke "Cut Liam Gallagher Some Slack"

Tom Clarke has defended Oasis for cancelling their headline performance at V Festival in Chelmsford last night (August 23rd), after Liam Gallagher contracted laryngitis.
As we already reported, Snow Patrol had to step in as replacements for the 'Wonderwall' hitmakers.
Now Clarke - whose band The Enemy recently supported Oasis on the UK leg of their world tour - has jumped to Gallagher's defence.
"If they've cancelled it's for a legitimate reason," Tom told Absolute Radio. "I hope everyone cuts him a bit of slack and doesn't whinge about it, 'cos s*** happens."
"They've been on tour since forever. I'm pretty sure they've hated each other since the '90s. They get on with it. They manage to go on stage and play amazing shows, probably the best live band in the world."
"The fact of the matter is, the lad's probably got a sore throat. Give him a break. Let him have a day off."
