T.I. To Begin Prison Sentence Today

T.I. is to begin his jail sentence today (May 26).
The rapper will sign in to the Forrest City correctional facility in Arkansas, where he will serve one year and one day behind bars.
T.I. was charged last year with weapons offenses (for attempting to purchase unregistered machine guns and silencers in 2007).
He has since been serving community service (as well as house arrest) in the run up to his prison sentence, after he pleaded guilty.
T.I. also intends to re-release his 'Paper Trails' album later this year, with additional bonus songs.
