T.I. Sentenced To One Year, One Day In Prison

T.I. - real name Clifford Harris - has been sentenced to one year and one day in prison, following his arrest in 2007 for attempting to purchase weapons and silencers.

Since then, the rapper has been heavily involved in community service as part of a negotiation, which has seen his sentence reduced.

Instead of facing upto 10 years behind bars, T.I. has completed 1,000 hours of community service already and will complete around another 500 upon his release. He also has to pay a $100,000 fine.

Harris now has between 30 and 60 days to begin his sentence.
