The White Stripes have revealed plans to tour again in the Summer, as the duo intend to promote the release of their next album Icky Thump.

The extensive US road trip will see Jack and Meg playing thirty four gigs during July, August, September and October - with the tour ending in a homecoming show in Detroit.

It's also thought The White Stripes will be releasing Icky Thump before the tour, around June time. Here is the band's current tour schedule:
