The Ting Tings 'Have Lost Friends & Family'

After spending the past 15 months touring the world since the release of debut album 'We Started Nothing', The Ting Tings have revealed their non-stop promotion has put pressure on their friendships.

"It's been pretty constant." Jules de Martino says of the band's workload. "I don't think we've been back home to Manchester for about three days in that entire time."

"So I've got not many friends left or family, unfortunately." The drummer added, during an interview with Geoff Lloyd for Absolute Radio.

But despite the low points, bandmate Katie White says the job does come with its benefits: "We've seen the world. God, we've seen it about five times."

"Japan, Hong Kong were great. America's good, we do long tours there and you know, there's some amazing cities there, but you're driving for so long just to get to the next city."

The Ting Tings are currently working on their second album, which Katie said earlier this year would be a "bit rawer, but definitely still pop."
