The Strokes need to get a move on with the recording of their next album says Albert Hammond Jr.
The guitarist has suggested fans could get bored of his band if they don't deliver their fourth full-length album next year, as they haven't released any new material since their 2006 LP 'First Impressions Of Earth'.
"If we don't make a Strokes record before that, people will think that's the end of us," Hammond Jr told Teletext. "Nothing's set, but we're definitely figuring out something to do for 2009."
In the three year gap since 'First Impressions Of Earth', Albert himself has released two solo albums - 2006's Yours To Keep and this month's '¿Cómo Te Llama?'.
