The Stooges 'To Tour In 2010'

Good news for fans of The Stooges - Iggy Pop says the band are reforming with original guitarist James Williamson next year.
Williamson hasn't performed with the influential punk group in almost 30 years, but he'll be replacing the late Ron Asheton.
"We're bringing The Stooges back next year." Iggy confirmed. "They've been rehearsing more without me than with me because I've been doing other things this year."
"But we have been rehearsing all together more recently and they kept going without me again last week."
It's not known if The Stooges will just be touring, or if they're also planning to record a new studio album.
