The Smiths Will Not Be Reforming

The Smiths will not be reforming to perform at next year's Coachella festival.
Earlier today, a British paper claimed the band were due to regroup for the 2009 event. However, guitarist Johnny Marr tells Uncut that reunion rumours were "rubbish".
In the past, frontman Morrissey said he was offered a staggering £40 million for The Smiths to reform, which he turned down.
