The Saturdays 'Girl Groups Work Harder Than Boybands'

The Saturdays feel that female groups have to put more effort in to look good, compared to boybands.
"Being in a girl group is completely different to being in a boyband or a rock group," band member Rochelle Wiseman said. "I think we work harder because we get in earlier to do make-up. There is the glam side of things. They can just turn up in whatever they want and still look cool."
"We're not always dressed up and we love to dress casually but there is a lot more work involved in being in a girl pop group because people are interested in the glamour - compared to being in a rock band, where you can just sing and go home."
And because they spend so long promoting their music and getting ready, The Saturdays don't have much spare time to themselves.
"Most of our time off is spent sleeping, seeing family and getting rest." Rochelle added to the Daily Record. "We work really hard and we've had one week off in two years. Sometimes we're up at 5.45am and keep going until 1.30am the next day."
The Saturdays released their second album 'Wordshaker' this month, which entered the album charts in the top 10.
