The Roots Push Back Album Release

The Roots have delayed their ninth album release until the new year.
The group's new disc 'How I Got Over Later' was due to hit shelves this month, but the collective aren't completely happy with how the songs are sounding, so they want more time to improve the material.
Band member ?uestlove wrote on Twitter: "I'm pushing it back til early 2010. sorry yall. I know its a pain in the a**. but I know you guys want this album RIGHT as opposed to RIGHT NOW!"
The Roots released their eighth studio album 'Rising Down' last year.
