The Rascals Hope To Score Their First Number 1 Single

The Rascals are setting their aims high, as they hoping they can score their first number one this year.

Singer MilesKane has already topped the album charts as one half of his offshoot project The Last Shadow Puppets, with Alex Turner of Arctic Monkeys.

But now he tells the Daily Star he hopes his own band can do the same. "What is going on at the moment is all so predictable," Kane says. "We're gonna stir it up."

"We don't want to make the second Rascals album too safe. We are working with some big names and it is going to be special."

"It is going to be full of big f*** off singles. We want to be No.1. It's all gone a bit soft so we are coming back to change that."

The Rascals will be releasing their second album this year.
