The Horrors Announce End Of Year Tour

The Horrors will close 2006 with their final tour dates of the year this December (see below).

The seven dates mark their first nationwide headline tour and it follows on from their recent shows as part of the Rock 'N' Riot tour alongside The Fratellis and The Maccabees.

Speaking about the new gigs, frontman Faris Badwan says on the band's MySpace page:

"Hi Everyone. We're really happy to be doing our first own proper headline tour. We've tried to pick interesting venues, and a couple of great support bands. I think we're doing a new fanzine in the new year too, so look out for that."

The tour begins in London on December 5th and ends in Newcastle on the 13th, with tickets going on sale tomorrow (November 4th) at 9am. This week also saw The Horrors release new single Count In Fives (and here's the video).
