The Game To Release 'A Mixtape A Week'

The Game has made a pretty bold statement - he plans to release a mixtape each week this summer.
Even though the rapper is recording his new studio album 'The R.E.D.' with production team Cool & Dre, the Compton star has promised to increase his workload with a series of street releases in the coming months.
"This summer, it ain't a n**** that's gonna out-mixtape me," The Game told MTV. "I'm dropping a mixtape every week."
"It ain't gonna be like no bulls*** mixtape s***. I'm dropping mixtapes that sound better than people's albums. The first one is gonna be the Bloody Thumb with the red thumbprint on the front."
Despite The Game announcing his retirement from the music industry after releasing 2008's L.A.X., he plans to release 'The R.E.D.' later this year.
