The Cribs To Headline NME Awards Tour 2008

The Cribs have today announced they will be headlining the 2008 NME Awards Tour this coming January and February.
The band will be joined by three other acts that were selected by NME and The Cribs. Supporting on each night will be Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, Does It Offend You, Yeah? and The Ting-Tings.
The tour will also see The Cribs releasing a new single - I'm A Realist - through Wichita Recordings and it will be backed by new songs as b-sides (yet to be revealed).
Apparently the band are recording with producer Bernard Butler in early December for the new tracks.
Tickets for the tour go on-sale on Friday 16th November from 9am.
