The Cribs Appeal For Stolen Equipment

The Cribs have issued an online statement, appealing for any information regarding their stolen equipment, which recently went missing while the band were in Glasgow.

On March 9th, The Cribs were forced to move a gig from King Tuts to a nearby local pub, after a flooding incident at the original venue. After the show, the band then found pieces of their equipment had been stolen.

The band are now seeking the return of a Rogers vintage snare drum in a 2-tone blue burst finish, although they are not bothered about the return of a stolen microphone.

The bulletin sees Gary Jarman saying: "We don't care about the mic, although it's still not cool to nick stuff like that off a band touring on a really small budget, but we are really bummed out about the snare drum. It has a lot of sentimental value."

Before adding, "We know that it went missing from inside the venue after the club checked the CCTV, and there was only 200 people in the club, so someone must know something about it."

Anyone with any info can reach The Cribs through their MySpace page and it looks like the Wakefield group will also reward the return of their gear:

"We are appealing that anyone who knows anything about it... We would be very grateful and will probably sort some kind of reward out if and when we get it back. I don't like getting heavy with people, but we know that someone in our crowd took the snare... and it meant a lot to Ross".
