The Coral Nearly Split Up

James Skelly, front man with The Coral, revealed to The Guardian in a new interview that the band nearly called it a day and split up in 2005.
Skelly told the paper, "I think everyone discussed it separately (splitting up). I thought to myself, 'We could walk away here with a good thing'."
Skelly also added, "It's crushing when you think about it. But it's reality, isn't it. I think you need it to happen to remind you of how much you love it."
The Coral release new single Who's Gonna Find Me on Monday (July 30th) and their next album Roots & Echoes a week later on August 6th.
