T-Pain Talks About Dolla's Death

T-Pain has spoken about the death of his friend and collaborator Dolla.
The 21-year-old was killed last week, when he was shot dead in Los Angeles outside the Beverly Center Mall (May 18).
T-Pain - like Dolla - was signed to Akon's Konvict Muzik label, and they became close friends.
"Man. It happens every day." T-Pain says to MTV News, regarding the death of the rapper. "It don't take nothing but time before it happens to someone you know."
"We had problems when I first got signed." The 'Thr33 Ringz' star confessed. "[But] then we worked it out, and after that we was the best of friends..."
"It kind of sucks. And we just got our friendship straightened out, then all of this had to happen."
The suspect in the shooting - Aubrey Berry - is currently in custody, held on bail of $2.5 million.
Dolla was laid to rest at the weekend.
