Susan Boyle became so famous after her stint on Britain's Got Talent, that she even had the media camped outside her home.
The 48-year-old became an overnight sensation following her performance on the UK TV contest - earning herself fans all over the world.
Recalling the attention she instantly gained, Boyle says: "There were phone calls 24 hours a day. They kept me awake for three weeks, until I changed my number. It was constant."
"There were a lot of press people outside my door, a lot of television people, a lot of people who wanted a piece of me."
"It got to the stage where I couldn't even go outside because the media - American television crews, too - surrounded the house." Susan continued.
"It was like being inside a giant pressure cooker, where the lid bubbles up and bubbles up and soon the pressure cooker goes."
"Everything had built up, and I was exhausted. You have to understand, my life ceased to be normal."
Susan Boyle releases her debut album 'I Dreamed A Dream' on November 23rd.
