Sugababes Star 'Suffering From Depression'

Amelle Berrabah is reportedly suffering from depression, following a turbulent few months.
The new line-up change of Sugababes (and a backlash from some fans) is said to be taking its toll on the singer, who last week announced was taking time off from the band after being diagnosed with "nervous exhaustion".
But according to the News of the World, a family member described Berrabah as being in a "very bad way", adding that she has been "suffering from depression for months but recent events led to her breakdown. It was very scary."
"Amelle hadn't been eating or sleeping and was very weak. She refused to leave the house for weeks as she thinks the world is against her. Much of it was in her head but she worried herself into a breakdown."
"Her bosses have given her some time off, but she knows there is massive pressure to recover quickly to promote the new single. She is still very much on the brink."
