Sugababes Explain Album Delay

Sugababes recently announced they'd now be releasing their new album 'Sweet 7' in March next year (much to the annoyance of fans), and now the girls have explained why they've delayed the record.
"Amelle had a bit of time off and we didn't want to rush it. We hadn't done any promotion," Heidi Range said. "We just want our fans to hear what's on the album before we release it."
"This way we get to do gigs and show people what's on there. We just didn't want to waste it and show people what it's about."
Heidi also says she is sick of tabloid gossip written about the band, because a lot of it isn't true.
Although 'Sweet 7' isn't released until March 10, 2010 - Sugababes have a new single, 'About A Girl', out this week - their first with new member Jade Ewen.
