Sugababes Blame Record Label Over Poor Album Sales

Sugababes have blamed their lack of sales for new album 'Catfights and Spotlights' on their record label.

Despite being one of the UK's biggest girl bands and having a recent hit single ('Girls'), the trio's latest album didn't remain in the top 40 for long.

"The sales have been disappointing but I don't think it is a reflection on the album's quality," Heidi Range tells the Daily Star. "The problem is the promotion, I don't actually think our fans know we've even got an album out."

Bandmate Keisha Buchanan also added that there is bad feeling towards their rivals Girls Aloud, who are enjoying success with their new LP 'Out Of Control'. "Of course we would have loved ours to go to number one but we still sent flowers to congratulate the girls."

"We're not going to lose any sleep over it and will be back in the lab soon to start again," adds Keisha.
