Soulja Boy Arms Himself Following Robbery

Soulja Boy has stocked up on weapons to protect himself at home, after he was robbed last year.

In December 2008, the 18-year-old rapper and two of his friends were robbed at gunpoint in Georgia during the early hours.

At the time, Soulja Boy - real name DeAndre Ramone Way - said the men were carrying AK's and pistols.

To ensure he never finds himself in the same situation again, Way has heavily armed his home.

"It made me change precautions in my security now." He tells PopEater.com. "I keep a pistol in every room now. My bodyguards stay strapped now."

Soulja Boy album is working on his next album, entitled 'The DeAndre Way', and the rapper recently spoke of its concept.
