Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon Launches Clothing Line

Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon has launched her own clothing line and her first product - a jacket sold in limited quantities - has just gone on sale.
The brand has the title of Mirror/Dash, which is also used by Gordon's music side project, and the jacket is a wool coat inspired by Françoise Hardy.
Only 50 of the jackets exist and will retail at $415. Fans wanting the coats can order theirs new through the newly launched Mirror/Dash site.
Speaking to the New York Times, the rock icon says of her range: "There's a need for clothes for cool moms," before adding, "Some people make limited-edition records - we're making a limited-edition jacket."
