Snow Patrol 'Want To Cover Cheryl Cole Song'

Snow Patrol are considering recording a cover of Cheryl Cole's number one single 'Fight For This Love'.

The group teamed up with the X Factor judge last week, when they performed live at the Royal Albert Hall in London, for the Children In Need charity.

And now Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody says he wants to tackle the Girls Aloud singer's debut solo song.

"We've spoken about doing more covers, maybe reworking Cheryl's Fight For This Love," Lightbody told The Sun. "I love pop music, some of it is life-affirming."

Snow Patrol released their 'Up To Now' best of album earlier this month.
