Snow Patrol "Leona Lewis Sounds Phenomenal"

Snow Patrol singer Gary Lightbody has praised Leona Lewis after she covered the band's hit single 'Run'.
Despite bandmate Nathan Connolly recently saying he hadn't heard the song, Lightbody says of Lewis' version: "She obviously studied the song and thought long and hard about how to interpret it."
"She's stripped it to its bare core," Lightbody continues to the Daily Record. "I think she sounds absolutely phenomenal. I'm not a big fan of shows like The X-Factor, but when talent like this comes along, I can't slate it."
"She's going to be around in 20 years. She's the next Whitney. She takes my breath away."
Leona's cover of 'Run' recently topped the UK singles charts and became the fastest selling digital download single ever.
