Snoop Dogg Settles Lawsuit With Priority Records

Snoop Dogg has finally settled a dispute with his former label Priority Records, according to lawyers.

The rapper sued the company in November 2006, claiming Priority owed him $2 million in fees under their 1998 recording agreement. The suit also said the label did not consult him before they released a Greatest Hits CDs - something he claimed was a breach of contract.

Priority Records lawyer David Steinberg said, "I don't believe a settlement would have been reached unless both sides were happy." Although neither party would discuss the exact outcome of the settlement.
