Snoop Dogg Must Pick-Up Trash And Paint Benches

Snoop Dogg will have to pick-up trash as part of his community service sentence it has emerged.

The rapper was sentenced to 160 hours of service after being arrested and charged with carrying an illegal weapon in an airport last year.

Snoop Dogg chose to serve out the sentence in a park in Orange County, California and speaking on his behalf, his attorney Donald Etra said he will do "everything from raking leaves to painting benches."

The arrest took place just over a year on September 27th 2006 at John Wayne Airport in Orange County, after police found Snoop to be in possession of a collapsible baton in one of his bags.

At the time, Dogg claimed the baton was actually a prop for a music video but authorities said it was a dangerous weapon.
