Snoop Dogg is in trouble with the law again, after being charged with possession of a gun, marijuana and cocaine. Police have also added that the hip hop star was also charged for having a false compartment in his car.
The rapper was pulled over in Burbank on Tuesday 28th November after his appearance on the Tonight Show. Snoop was then let free on a $60,000 bond after being by police for 7 hours, but is expected to be arraigned early next year on January 11th 2007.
Speaking on behalf of the rapper, his lawyer Donald Etra told the Associated Press that Snoop Dogg was:
"In a car pulling out of the studio and was booked at jail for investigation of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm."
"As of this point, he stands innocent of all charges, the goal tonight was to get him out of jail. The goal tomorrow is to deal with the case."
The incident comes after other recent arrests - Snoop was charged with drug and gun possession in October, as well as carrying a baton onto a plane.
