Sky1 To Broadcast Girls Aloud & Madonna Tours

Fans of Girls Aloud and Madonna will be able to watch live concerts by both acts courtesy of Sky1 this summer.
Girls Aloud's recent 'Out Of Control' arena jaunt, and Madge's 'Sticky And Sweet' road trip have been snapped-up by the broadcasters, who will air the concerts during July via Sky1. Sky1 HD will then broadcast the shows the following month, in August.
Speaking in a statement, Sky's Stuart Murphy says: "I wanted to give something special to our customers and what better gift than to spend a fantastic night with two of the world's biggest music stars, Madonna and Girls Aloud, live in your living room, in high definition?"
"HD will make audiences feel like they're literally there with them. It's fantastic, event television that only Sky1 can offer and both shows are sure to set temperatures soaring this summer."
