Simply Red Announce 2010 Forest Tour

Simply Red have announced a series of concerts that will see the band performing in forests.
Seven outdoor events have been scheduled in conjunction with Forestry Commission Live Music, for June and July 2010 - tickets are on sale here.
June 2010 Forest Concerts:
Thetford Forest, Nr Brandon, Suffolk (11th)
Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Nr Goudhurst, Kent (12th)
Sherwood Pines Forest Park, Nr Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire (18th)
Westonbirt Arboretum, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire (19th)
Cannock Chase Forest, Nr Rugeley, Staffordshire (25th)
Dalby Forest, Nr Pickering, North Yorks (26th)
July 2010 Forest Concerts:
Delamere Forest, Delamere, Cheshire (2nd)
Simply Red frontman Mick Hucknall says in a statement: "As we had such fun performing a solo forest show at Westonbirt Arboretum this year, we decided it would be great to play all the forest concert venues around the country in 2010."
"It is a fantastic experience for a band to play in these unique settings".
Forestry Commission Live Music pays for itself and any profit generated goes back into improving woodlands for both wildlife and the public to enjoy.
