Sigur Ros Film + Album Update

A feature film is to be made about Sigur Ros by Icelandic film-makers, who followed the band during their Summer 2003 tour.

Three songs for the new album have been completed so far, but at present the band is taking a short break. Studio sessions will continue in June / July.
A friend of the band - Jimmy Lavelle (The Album Leaf) will be releasing his new album 'In A Safe Place' on June 22nd, recorded in Sigur Ros's own studio.
Three members of Sigur Ros contribute vocals, acoustic guitar, accordion, glockenspiel, organ, bells & drums to the record. Elfin from Gyaa Valtysdottir (From Mum) also contributes cello.
